Video description: Trailer for “The Plotz Hole.” 30 seconds. Title card with the words “Podcast Episode” and “Genre: Science Fiction” is displayed at top. Story tagline is displayed at bottom. Tagline reads, “The passionate people involved with making movies at Plotz Hole Studios hail from all the many corners of the universe, and beyond.” The title card and tagline fade. Digital drawing. A woman seen from the back, standing in a bar of light that extends from upper left corner to lower right corner of image. She’s wearing a knee-length skirt and boots and a fancy top. The woman raises her right hand out toward a framed bright glass surface. The surface displays the light gray silhouette of a man, one hand reaching down to a small dog. Upper right, in shadow, some artwork hung on the wall. Below it, partly visible, is some raised surface like a bench or table. Subtitles appear in time with music and narration at the bottom: “…humans—a species floating adrift for the time being in the outer reaches of a most intriguing galaxy. Humans, ignorant for the time being of any other civilizations but their own. Humans, reaching out into space for a hand to clasp, and finding none…for the time being. Humans. She liked them.” Story title appears at top as the image blurs and darkens. Text box appears at center displaying the words, “Listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Stitcher, and so on. Or listen on my Podcast page at storyfeather.com.”

EXCERPT:
Martin Plotz glanced down at the photographs that Trudy had placed on his desk. He took a magnifying lens to one of them and bent over it. He frowned and glanced up at Trudy with the expression that she expected him to have on his face, annoyed but certain disbelief.

“Spider-snake?”

“Yes, the story comes from a reputable news outlet.” Trudy flipped through her notebook.

“Let me guess, the Curious Cryptid Weekly?”
