[Video description: 28 seconds. Scanned watercolor painting. A young woman seen from shoulders up, her face in three-quarters view. She wears an ornate tiara on her forehead. Her hair is tied up in a voluminous bun. She wears a top with straps that tie around her neck and with vine-like embroidery along the top edge. Her eyes are turned down and to the right as if sad or forlorn. On her right shoulder perches a small rodent-like animal or creature with large bell-shaped ears. Watermark of the word “storyfeather” lays over the image. Title card over the image displays “Podcast Episode” and “Genre: Fairy Tale” The words fade away, replaced by the story’s title. The title fades. Subtitles appear in time with music and narration at the bottom: “They came upon a small dragon, who was making a soup. She lived deeper in the cavern and was happy to invite two travelers inside for some soup and tales of the world below or above, depending on the way the travelers were traveling. Endora only said that she was traveling to the upper world for the first time, so she could see the unending sky.” Text box appears over image displaying the words, “Listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Stitcher, and so on. Or listen on my Podcast page at storyfeather.com.” Website URL appears at bottom center throughout and fades as the text box appears.]

The Fairy Between Light and Dark Storyfeather

EXCERPT:
Shame and sorrow were to be her lot in life. The legacy given to her and the legacy she herself would pass on.

Endora was born below the earth in a realm so little thought of that it had no name. That was why the many peoples who lived there took such care with and pride in their own names. “Endora” meant “light.” Oftentimes, her name was the only light in the cozy but humble hollow where she and her family made their home
