[Video description: Duration is 39 seconds. Scanned watercolor painting. Seen from the front at a slight angle, a couple sits cuddling in a red convertible on a bluff overlooking a city. Based on their dress and the style of the car, it appears to be the nineteen-fifties. Just behind the car is a tall stone with hints of a humanoid figure within. Behind the stone is a forest. “Podcast Episode” and “Genre: Mystery” are displayed in front of the image. The words fade away, replaced by the story’s title. Subtitles appear in time with narration at the top of the screen: “‘I always thought convertibles were pointless, but this is kind of amazing.’ He turned to Maya. ‘Maybe it’s because I’m with—’ ‘Don’t say it. Maya looked down at her hands. ‘It’s cheesy.’ ‘Coming up here at night and listening to music is great, but even better is when I turn it off and just listen. Some people think this spot is creepy, because of the monument stones, and the forest. But to me it’s the perfect escape.’” Music plays throughout. The website URL appears at the bottom and fades only at the very end. At the video’s end, a text box appears over the image displaying the words, “Listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and so on.  Or listen on my Podcast page at”]

The two cozied up on the bench seat of the red convertible, parked on a bluff that overlooked the glittering city below.

Maya grinned and reached out to pat the dashboard. “My baby’s a boy.”
